Japanese Insect Museum

Insect museum

I like many things, electronics, animals, nature, programming, making videos, diy, games and of course insects. I don’t know where my interest for insects came from as my entire family really dislikes them. But I find them very fascinating and interesting. They have such a unique way of living and handling situations. So I was quite happy to go to this insect museum, even though that the people I went with don’t really like insects hahah.

Ants

My biggest fascination was their ant collection. I really like ants and bees, I find it interesting how they work. All individual creatures, but without their family they can’t survive. They need each other and really form one big team. Their coordination is also quite amazing in my opinion. This may be something that others don’t understand, and if you are one of those people, imagine talking about what interests you and how many people would also find it interesting.

A bit far from Osaka

It takes some time if you want to go there from Osaka. It’s not that convenient to get to requiring a long train ride and a bus. However, if you like insects and want to see some nice examples of what the Japanese nature has to offer, then it really is worth the travel time. From the top of the museum you also have a nice view over a lake which supposedly has islands in it in the shape of Japan, however the tree’s are so rich on these islands that this is difficult to notice. ^^”
