When you live in Japan, pay close attention to your railway station nearby. They often have day tickets on discount making it possible to see an entire prefecture very easily. I have used these types of tickets a couple of times now and it is so nice as here in Japan, you basically have a train every 10 to 20 minutes. Trains here are so convenient and I love having trips by train as you never struggle to find a parking spot.
